Following the success of our wide range of furniture and lighting that is now being supported by ALITAB we have managed to build a workshop and start a sustainable livelihoods programme at the Centre in Mbare.

This programme aims to teach 4 beneficiaries from the local area how to process waste that has been sorted and cleaned by the local community waste transfer station we have been partnering with.

The trainees will be able to earn and income as well as become proficient in recycling processes relating specifically to soft plastics. As the project expands and become self sufficient we hope to expand to teaching more of the community how to weave soft plastics and to create products that companies will sponsor by buying
